Despite being a world away from hustle and bustle,we have a local excellent GP,Dentist and Optician.Also a PO,Lidl and local shops,this isarea l community where people get to know you.Cardiff is 3 miles,Barri Island 6 miles and Tesco a 15 minute walk.There are regular buses into Cardiff and Barri and the bus stop is only,literally,2 minutes walk once you leave the courtyard. We love it here and would never move having spent 10 good years here but my partner has developed a progressive illness which means he has to seek a more rural setting.We have tried to move to Lincs.where my family is but are prepared to consider anywhere rural other than the south east of England.For reading this,thank you. Email: cymru-hanna@hotmail.comWe have a 2 bed townhouse(NOT terraced)in a private courtyard(HA)of 8 houses and 2 flats.Full DG,GCH and Economy 7.Living room faces south as does the main b/room so we are always warm.The rear bedroom and kitchen face north and are really cool in summer.To the rear is a fully fenced(6\')private and mature garden for our sole use where we have BBQs or just sit in on an evening.This is a stable and friendly scheme(most of us have been here since it was built 10 years ago)which is much sought after as it is quiet and trouble free.Set well back from the road there is no through traffic and private standing for our car outside our home. Although we are out of the mainstream,we have local access to an excellent GP,Dentist,Optician,PO,Lidl,Aldi and local shops.Tesco and Asda are a short bus ride away as is Cardiff and Barri Island(if you fancy a day at the seaside!).Bus stops are a 2 minute walk after you\'ve left the courtyard and Cardiff is only 3 miles away. We have to leave due to health problems,for a more rural setting as my partner has a progressive disease and although we can currently go to rural areas,he is approaching a stage where he shall no longer be able to drive.It is more than a wrench to move but we have to on the advice of doctors. This is a quiet and peaceful scheme and trouble-free so we are looking for somewhere at least as nice.We have to leave as my partner has developed a progressive disease and he would benefit from a more rural location.I stress that we don\'t want to leave because we love our home and neighbours and locals are friendly but.......such is life!
