The schools are just 5 min walk away as well as the shops and doctors. There is a parade of shops which you can walk to 15 mins, or catch a local bus or tram too 5 min, which currently has an iceland, co-op, woolworths, carpet store, hair dressers, barbers and nail parlour, fast food shops, hard ware store, fish and chip shop, news agents, dryclean store, libary, gym, swimming pool, council office. We have bus stop 5 min walk away which you can get buses to Croydon, bromley, west wickam, shirley, selsdon and other surrounding areas. There is also a tram which runs either up to the parade of shops, or in to central croydon (east croydon) where the main station is and its just 40 mins to brighton beach, or 15 mins in to london bridge or victoria. Trains run from here very frequently, and offer trains to near enough everywhere. You can also use the tram to take you into wimbledon, or elmers end, or beckenham. so basically you can get to anywhere in the south via the tram then station.
