We have for exchange an older type house built in the 1950's on the Headlands Estate in Daventry owned by the Daventry Discrict Council,we have lived here for 34 years and will be sorry to go, it has 4 bedrooms and large gardens front and back the back being very private but due to the fact that our children have all left home now we no longer need all the rooms.The gardens are well mentained but we are not able to manage them like we used to because of ill health. We are a 10 minute walk from the town centre a short walk to the local shop and post office and a short walk to the schools which are all beside each other.The bedrooms are 2 large at the front of the house and 2 smaller ones at the back,seperate toilet and bathroom with a shower over the bath,a large lounge and a large kitchen with a separate utility room for washing machine,tumble drier and freezer etc.There is ample parking in the close but we do rent a council garage which is an option if needed. We are looking for a 2 bedroom or would consider a 3 bedroom in the south Northamptonshire area. Milton Malsor,Wootton,Harpole,Kislingbury,Rotherstorpe Hardingstone,Grange Park or surrounding areas,we would like off road parking or a garage or the possibility to rent a garage near by,a down stairs toilet would be a bonus.
