We have the whole top floor, and exclusive use of the loft-space above (good for lots of storage, but not quite high enough to convert to another room). Additional private lockable storage is just outside our front door. The flat (technically a one bedroom flat) is bright and airy and warm. We use the huge (4M by 4M) kitchen as a living room/kitchen and the main bedroom and the living room as two bedrooms. We put in a new kitchen 3 years ago, and a jacuzzi bathtub and a shower. There is laminate flooring in two rooms, and natural floorboards in the others. Neighbours are quiet yet friendly. Shops are 3 mins walk. Goodge Street Tube is 3 mins. It's on several bus routes too. Key only access to the private Bedford Square Gardens is available. Residents parking is at rear of house, the permit costs me £90 per year. It is a great area, with shops, restaurants, theatre, cinemas, parks and squares. The area is called Fitzrovia and has an amazing history. There are 3 mainline railway stations in walking distance, and it is about 60 minutes traveling to any of the London airports Rent is £92 per week, and fuel bills are good. The flat is well insulated, and we did not need to switch on the GCH for this winter until early December(we last needed the GCH last April). We would like to swap with someone in the south of England, HANTS or SUSSEX ideally, and the more remote and quiet the better. A detached and isolated cottage/old house would be our ideal but we realise that this is a big ask! Outside of a small village would be fine, but we're really not interested in living in a town or city - we would like a change from all that! Transport links are not important, we have a car and a motorbike. Somewhere with fields and long walks and woods, where you can take your dog would be perfect. I love this house and I am only moving to be nearer to family. I am looking for a 2 bedroom house with garden in London(wembley) or Oxford or nearby to either of those areas.

The good thing about being in a house conversion and accomodating the top flat, is that there is no noise above and the use of the attic space within the peoperty is great for storage. There is two nice double size bedrooms and shops, postoffice etc. are within a 2 minutes walking distance, as is public transport. The only downside is the amount of stairs, however it is nolonger a issue, especially once fully moved in. There is a massive garden to use at your lesire although this is shared between all the tenants, although hardly used by any of us. Schools are also within 3-5 minutes walking distance, which makes it easy to choose a school readily accessiable to family children. The house has grown too small for my family and therefore will be sadly missed, unfortunatly it is impossible to attach extra rooms!

The cenema and cloths stores and other train stations are about 10-15 min drive.
