The property is a tasteful new-build (1986), and overlooks a large well kept (hardly used) communal garden on 4 sides. Views from all windows are leafy. Excellent transport links, short drive to M3, 7 miles on motorway to M27. Very frequent direct trains to London take about an hour. It’s a short trip to the train station on a small quiet bus 50 metres from my flat. It’s also a 5 minute leafy walk to the main bus stop (buses to town every 15 mins), and to the small local shops. The other bus also goes to a large Sainsbury's/Drs/community centre in the other direction. There's some car parking solely for residents, (and more purpose built parking spaces along adjacent street.)The rent is £73 per week. The flat has new central heating. I am looking for a quiet TOP FLOOR 2 bed flat, preferably in Hampstead. Other similar areas of North/North West London would also be great, and the rest of London also considered. SE1 is a very up and coming area with many new trendy places opening within a ten minute walk. The flat has got a balcony accessed through French doors in the sitting room. The sitting room is big enough for a dining table, but would suggest one that is extendable for parties of four or more, a table set for four in my opinion is would make the room seem cluttered if a large table was set up at all times. There is enough room to comfortably seat 4 on sofas etc. The bedroom is a good size I have a fitted wardrobe across one end that has 3 hanging rails (one full length) 6 draws, several shelves and two big cupboards that go to the ceiling. The Kitchen is only a year old, not massive but dose work well. there is space for washer, fridge/freezer cooker and slim line dishwasher. The bathroom is only 4 months old and has an electric shower. it is tiled from floor to ceiling in white, with one band of very light grey. I am looking for a one or two bed flat ground floor or lift access. A garden would be great but must be on, or very close to the coast. All areas from Portsmouth to Weymouth considered.
